Finally, the driveway-porch bed

Regular visitors to this blog know that I moved into a new house nearly four years ago and I’ve been s-l-o-w-l-y getting the gardens going. No small task, considering that I inherited mud, weeds and a few straggly rose bushes. Oh, and some mud and weeds. The little bit of patchy grass that mixed in with the weeds and called itself a lawn was lost about a year and a half ago when an emergency cesspool installation was necessary. This, despite the engineer’s report that the cesspool was A-OK. But I digress.
